Team
Talat Khan
Talat founded ZEAL in 2022 after a decade of institutional equities experience as a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs International and as Head of European Equities at Cantor Fitzgerald Europe. He specialises in capital market advisory, origination, and distribution. Talat’s expertise spans equity capital markets, block trading, special situations, and IPOs.
He holds a BSc (Hons) in Statistics, Computing, Operational Research & Economics from University College London, and a MSc in Finance from Imperial College Business School.
Rishi Karir
​Rishi brings over two decades of front-line experience in financial markets, business development, and commercial strategy across global banks, asset managers, and fintech firms.
His career has included senior leadership roles at Bloomberg, State Street, Barclays, and Credit Suisse, where he consistently drove growth, launched innovative products, and built high-performing teams.
Rishi holds a BSc in Economics & Business Finance from Brunel, University of London.
Sonia Peterson
Sonia has nearly 20 years of experience across private and public equities and credit.
Prior to ZEAL, Sonia raised over $600mm in 12 months over various structured facilities at Liquidity Group. She also served as Head of Private Capital Markets and SPACs in Europe at Cantor Fitzgerald and Head of US Equity Sales in Europe at Deutsche Bank. Earlier in her career, she worked in institutional Fixed Income and FX Sales at TD Securities.
Sonia has a Masters in Finance from London Business School and is a CFA Charterholder.
Jack Platts
Jack is the Research Manager in Advanced Technology at ZEAL, where he conducts comprehensive market research and analyses industry data across high-tech sectors, including AI, to identify emerging trends and strategic opportunities for the firm.
Jack began his career as an Analyst at Bain Capital, then served as Head of Crypto at Ulysses Diversified Holdings, followed by his role as Head of Collaborations at Web3 Foundation. He is currently the Co-Founder of Hypersphere Ventures.
Jack holds degrees from Northeastern University and the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Tilly Aung
Tilly brings nearly a decade of experience in private banking, private markets and investor relations.
She began her career at the private bank C. Hoare & Co., before joining HSBC Private Bank in 2017, where she developed expertise in international UHNW wealth management. In 2024, Tilly joined NIO Partners, a European alternative investments firm, working closely with institutional investors and family offices.
Tilly graduated from the University of York with a BA in Economics & Economic History.

Aleks Lewis
Aleks specialises in evaluating private equity secondary transaction opportunities, managing relationships with institutional investors, and supporting transaction execution.

Prior to joining ZEAL, Aleks Interned as an Analyst at Makor Securities and at Lighthouse Capital Group.

Aleks completed his degree at the University of Toronto in Canada.
Taylor Cable - External Adviser
Taylor spent over sixteen years at Moore Capital Management, holding a variety of positions from FX Execution Trader to Macro Portfolio Manager, to his final role as Senior Trader and Project Manager for the CEO.
More recently Taylor was a Managing Director, Cowen Digital Europe in charge of building and running Digital Asset sales & trading. Prior to this, Taylor was COO of BCAM at Blockchain.com Institutional, joining the team there after selling AiX to the firm, where he was COO, CFO and Executive Director.
Taylor has an MBA from Columbia Business School.
